Ellen Geske joined the firm in September 2020 after completing a clerkship with Justice Shannon Bacon at the New Mexico Supreme Court. During her clerkship, Ellen assisted in drafting opinions and researching pertinent issues before the Court. Prior to her clerkship, Ellen practiced at a civil defense firm, primarily in the area of medical malpractice defense.
Ellen attended the University of New Mexico School of Law, where she earned her J.D., cum laude, in 2018. During law school, she competed on the Health Law Moot Court team, served on the Student Health Law Association board, and she participated on the Biomedical Ethics Committee at the UNM Health Sciences Center Institute for Ethics. At graduation, faculty awarded her the Excellence in Health Law Award from Bloomberg Law.
Outside of work, Ellen enjoys spending time with her husband, Caleb, and their two daughters.
